Thank you mamas for all you do.

I applaud your unstoppable tenacity and endless ingenuity (entertaining a toddler during lockdown…takes the best minds)! As the pandemic is slowly winding down, it’s time to reflect on just HOW CRAZY these last couple years have been. Women were hit the hardest, but ones who decided to and were fortunate enough to keep their jobs, somehow managed to work from home and raise babies... The pressure mounted on women’s shoulders. Was any of this fair? Nope. But mamas did what they do best – survive hard situations. So please, scroll down and take a tiny peak into the lives of a few NYC Working-From-Home Mamas, who had to balance it all… from a makeshift office in the kitchen to entertaining kids while on Zoom calls. Here’s to hoping that this will never have to happen again but OMG… mamas are just the MOST kick-ass superheroes!

Ps. It took me almost a year to put this together… Turns out that scheduling/shooting/editing takes a lot more time when working with mamas who are also working and trying to survive virtual schooling (on top of everything else). Who knew? :) This whole process highlighted just how much I can endure and still come out smiling. So try this with me, smile and laugh more, take notice of (even if few) positive, special moments around you, take comfort and gratitude in what you have and who you are with.

Signing off,
